St. Ignatius Loyola Lay Ministers Enrichment Presents

Living Our Vocations:

God's Will, Our Desires

What a helpful insight when we see what God wants for us is the same as what we want for ourselves -- our true-selves being found and shared!

presented by

Fr. James J. Hederman, SJ

Vocation Promoter for the New England, New York, and Maryland Jesuit Provinces

Program Format
Outstanding presenters from the staff of St. Ignatius Loyola and other religious and academic institutions lead each Saturday program.

The day begins with a continental breakfast at 9:30 AM in Wallace Hall.  Morning and afternoon sessions focus on the spirituality of the day’s topic and on presentations prepared for program participants.  Sessions generally include time for private prayer, small-group discussions, and question-and-answer exchanges with program presenters.

Lunch is served between the morning and afternoon sessions.  The program ends, usually with Mass, at about 3:00 PM

Lay Ministers Enrichment of St. Ignatius Loyola Parish

The Lay Ministers’ Enrichment Program offers participants time to pray together, learn together, get to know other lay ministers, and deepen the faith of the St. Ignatius Parish Community. Now in its fifth year, this program was developed in response to lay ministers’ requests for deeper exploration of their ministries and their identities as ministers.

The program has two primary objectives:
(1) Expanding lay ministers’ understanding of the theological foundations of ministry
(2) Integrating the call to discipleship in order to broaden and strengthen the St. Ignatius faith community
